Lisa Wu is a contemporary Taiwanese realist oil painter who began painting at the age of 50. Specializing in a delicate realist style, she was shortlisted for the NTDTV Global Portrait Realist Oil Painting Competition. She graduated from the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts at National Kaohsiung Normal University, with her master’s thesis titled “The Artist’s New Nomadic State,” focusing on integrating her experiences traveling to various countries into modern narrative painting. Her works cover a wide range of subjects, including figures, landscapes, and still lifes.
