the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University in 2025. After 25 years in the education sector, she returned to painting after retirement. She has participated in art-related societies and associations and has actively participated in international exhibitions in recent years. Li Xiangguo’s distinctive style is “Drip Impression,” stemming from her observation of the fluidity of color. Using the natural flow of paint as her core vocabulary, she creates unpredictable yet vibrant traces through the interaction of gravity, speed, and time. Her paintings are formed through dripping, flowing, and merging, replacing traditional brushstrokes and allowing the paint itself to become the narrative subject. Colors push and spread against each other, creating a dynamic image that exists between control and loss of control. In her work, Li deliberately amplifies the randomness of flow, letting the paint speak for itself, attempting to capture the sense of instantaneous change and the fluidity of emotion. She no longer emphasizes representational depiction but allows viewers to experience emotion, rhythm, and inner energy through the diffusion and flow of color. This creative approach symbolizes the natural overflow of emotions and memories, reflecting those moments in the human heart that cannot be captured by language. The traces of dripping water are like the traces of time, ultimately constructing a unique and free visual impression. Li Xiangguo has received numerous awards, including an award of excellence at the 2025 French Artists Salon Exhibition, selection for the 78th Japan Jigenkai Exhibition, and selection for the oil painting category at the 70th Central Taiwan Art Exhibition in 2022.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n
