Hsiao-Chun Wang was born in Kaohsiung. She moves between multiple fields, using materials as her language to respond to the whispers of time and memory. Through a scavenging theory, she gathers fragments of everyday life, transforming them into speculative materials, allowing silent objects to speak again. Her creations often unfold along the textures of a space, tracing the intertwined paths and atmospheres of space and memory. Through material translation and multidimensional experimentation, she reconstructs meaning and value between the known and the unknown, weaving experiences into the gaps, making forgetting another way of being remembered, and continuing to wander in a slow dialogue about self, life, freedom, and existence.
