Taiwan Women's Art Association
Taiwan Women’s Art Association (TWAA) was founded on January 23, 2000. It is a national art group. For 20 years, it has been committed to researching and organizing Taiwan women’s art historical materials and exhibition planning, and assisting female art workers to integrate a platform for various resources to actively improve the overall environment for gender differences in the art world. With the change of directors, the Women’s Arts Association has fluctuated and extended in the north and south of Taiwan. At the end of 2020, Lai Chunchun, the founding director of the association, once again took on the important task and became the twelfth director. After the efforts of the previous directors of the Women’s Arts Association and all parties With the support, it has reached more than 270 members, including outstanding workers in professional fields such as art creation, administration, curation, criticism, research, education and galleries. It can be seen that the Women’s Arts Club has traces of the efforts of female artists from all over Taiwan, and earnestly maintains the channels and performance platforms for female artists to gather together in the contemporary art world. In the future, the Women’s Arts Association will have a better future, and we also look forward to more and more brilliant performances from Taiwanese female artists.
