Born in Kaohsiung in 1984, Kuo Chia-ling graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Tainan University of Technology in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree. She is currently a full-time artist and also works part-time as an art project contractor.
Resume
I’ve loved drawing since I was a child. I studied art in junior high, high school, and university. Later, I worked in art education and as a freelance art project contractor (art walls, prop making, installation art, mosaic collage, etc.).
Each time we take on a different project, we try to use more diverse media to create. Through communication with the client, we design artworks that are closer to their dreams. Although changing someone’s mind is difficult, consistently conveying good artistic values requires a lot of coordination and challenges. From drawing to completion, we not only enjoy the joy of our dreams slowly taking root, but also give our clients the feeling of creating dreams together through art.
I love painting in my spare time, sharing my boundless creativity with friends. Creating heals myself and others; just as Genesis records, God placed a rainbow in the clouds as a sign of our covenant, and I adorn this world with color!
Because of my love for art, I’ve persisted on this path. It may be tough, but adding color to the world gives me confidence to persevere. With art as my companion on the road ahead, I’m not alone. I find joy in life and solace in creation; my highest wish is to contribute to this realm of beauty.
