Born in Taipei, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of National Taiwan Normal University in 1975, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Texas in 1979, and received a master’s degree from the Pratt Institute in New York in 1987. In 1990, she was selected as an artist in the “10th Art Market Project” of the Bronx Art Museum in New York, USA, and lived in New York for fifteen years. In 2004, he was a resident artist at the CAMAC Art Center in Paris, France. He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Visual Communication, Chaoyang University of Science and Technology. The work uses the solid and cold aluminum foil as a metaphor for various phenomena of post-industrial society life, trying to tease the familiar images in life and the anxiety of impermanence in existence. The artist comprehends the life of all beings from self-awareness, samples, ponders, and ruminates, and through the tangible world covered and covered by the medium, he settles and drowns the original appearance, transforms and shapes another reappearance world, and simulates the real world.
