Meng-Han Hsu is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, photography, and art jewelry design. Her work employs metaphor and visual tension as its language, exploring the fluid relationship between life, desire, and mortality.
From the painting series Essence of Pain (2011–2026) to the photographic series Flesh and the Everydayness (2016–2019), HSU articulates an artistic vocabulary that is both intimate and universally resonant. In Ours (2020–2026), she shifts her gaze toward the memories embedded in the land of Taiwan and its dialogue with the world—finding grandeur in subtlety and transforming individual perception into collective resonance.
Through intense and abundant emotional energy, HSU’s works stir the deepest inner layers of the viewer, awakening a resonance that is enduring and quietly restrained.
As a significant milestone in her professional career, she founded Hsu Meng-Han Art Jewelry in 2026. Treating jewelry as poetry and materials as language, her work integrates metal craftsmanship with artistic thinking, transforming the imprints of time into wearable art.
