As an artist who creates in multiple forms, Chen Peijun’s creations are between painting, collage and applied art, combining oriental brush and ink with western surreal abstract concepts, and the powerful lines are integrated with fiction and imagination, complexity and simplicity The contrast gives the work artistic expression.
The picture contains the softness and delicacy of women. The work conveys the stories hidden in life, creates the artist’s personal life experience and spiritual feelings, and explores the essence of multiple “Selves”. Although the work does not have obvious feminist and gender awareness, but naturally present women’s unique delicate and sensitive femininity and inner complexity.
