About My Creations

Space, for me, is the deepest calling within my being. I perceive space through painting; “space” is a mysterious realm of feeling in life. Oil painting offers immense potential for spatial representation, which is why I particularly love it. However, various forms of sketching, watercolor, photography, calligraphy, traditional ink painting, printmaking, and spatial planning and design are also excellent media.

I believe life possesses a universal meaning, a blessing bestowed upon humanity by God. Just as Chopin could compose moving melodies within melancholic music, the same principle applies to painting. I hope to find diverse forms to respond to the spatial rhythms that “settle the soul” in my memory—light, color, rhythm, and shadow…—allowing art to become a force capable of awakening those moving emotions.

In the process of repeating actions day after day, I like to find solutions to problems by moving the position of the body and changing the perspective, and then we will find that by finding the comfortable space state in the memory, perhaps fragile but can also be transformed into strength due to faith, through the form of visual space, those will be the comfortable space states where life can settle down and will be nostalgic or yearning.
