A graduate of the painting group at Fu-Hsing Arts and Crafts Institute and the Department of Crafts at Tainan University of Technology, she worked in floral design for two years before founding a children’s art studio 20 years ago. Since 2000, she has been creating three-dimensional works using magnesium oxide composite media.
Creative Concept
I’ve always felt that if you walk straight through the forest, you’ll find a magical village.
There, plants bloom and fade, life goes on endlessly.
There, you’ll find the warmth of kind animals.
It’s a magic of the universe, free from sorrow.
Using this magical village as a backdrop,
I created the village’s open-minded and kind characters,
and its amusing and humorous animals.
Everything in the village seems beautiful, carefree, and fun.
But life is actually full of setbacks.
The villagers are simply used to facing them with kindness and courage.
Anyone who is willing can enter the magical village.
